50/50 Raffle (14-17) (18+)

Working throughout the festival to sell Raffle tickets, the crew will need to be made up of enthusiastic and responsible folks to make the 50/50 draw a success! Raffle volunteers will participate in the Raffle sales incentive program and will have a great opportunity to win prizes. Charitable funds will be used to support Folk in the Schools and to highlight local musicians performing at the festival.

 Floaters (14-17) (18+)

This is a great place to start for new volunteers as it’s a taste of a bunch of different crews! This crew is essential as it supports all other crews onsite that are short-handed at various points during the festival. Sometimes the crew will be very busy while at other times, there may be a bit of waiting for the next assignment.

Gates (14-17) (18+)

Gates volunteers support the effective operation of Cityfolk festival entry and exit points. It is often the first contact patrons have with volunteers at the festival. This is an exciting area, as Gate volunteers move huge crowds of people in and out of the site very quickly and have a great deal of fun while doing so.

General Store (14-17) (18+)

The General Store professionally displays and sells festival merchandise throughout the festival.

Green Team (14-17) (18+)

Are you green-minded? If so, this crew is for you! As an integral part of the festival’s green initiatives, this crew acts as environmental ambassadors for the festival by working hard to keep the festival clean of garbage, managing our recycling and composting programs, and spreading the green message.

Info Booth and Accessibility (18+)

As a member of the Customer Support team, you’ll be a welcoming presence and helpful guide for festival patrons. This role blends strong communication, event knowledge, and a passion for great service to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for all guests. From providing extra site assistance, to providing site information, you’ll help festival-goers feel supported every step of the way.

Site Services (18+)

If you love a little chaos and you want to be right in the middle of it, Site Services is your people. When a team radios “;we need this right now” we are the ones who make it happen. Fast. Loud footsteps. Clipboard energy. A tiny bit of drama, the fun kind, because this is a festival and we are the crew that keeps it from falling apart.

VIP Zone and Hospitality Suites (18+)

We have merged our two onsite VIP areas into one team to provide patrons with the best streamlined VIP experience possible during their time at CityFolk. Our VIP Zone and Hospitality Suites have private access to seating, bar, and washroom facilities, and an amazing team of volunteers who know how to make the VIP experience unique for every patron.

Welcome Centre (14-17) (18+)

This crew of experienced CityFolk volunteers is the welcome, information, and refreshment location for all CityFolk festival volunteers. The crew answers volunteer-specific questions, helps connect volunteers with their Crew Leaders, provides secure bag check services and refreshments for all volunteers.
